According to June’s Consumer Price Index, the highest ever annual inflation rate has been scheduled in Great Britain.
Pet owner have to spent 8.4% more for pet products and services than in previous year pursuant to the British Office for National Statistics (ONS), which is though still beneath the global Consumer Prices Index (CPI) with an increase of 9.4%
From May to June 2022, there has been recorded an increase by 1.1%. The compounded increase of the first 6 months was 5.4%.
Kantar’s latest data has revealed that British families have to spent around £380 (€445) more for annual grocery shopping. Thereof the prices of pet food, butter and milk have increased the strongest.
