Symrise AG has entered into a strategic alliance with Hofseth BioCare (HBC), a Norwegian firm specializing in salmon-based ingredients for pet and human nutrition. HBC, known for repurposing salmon industry byproducts into high-quality nutritional ingredients, plans to upgrade its Berkak facility to significantly boost production capacity. Symrise will utilize its market expertise to promote HBC’s clinically backed marine ingredients globally. CEO Jean-Yves Parisot highlighted the collaboration’s alignment with Symrise’s expansion in health-focused nutrition, while HBC’s CEO Jon Olav Odegard emphasized that the partnership will enhance their market reach and reinforce their position in the marine nutrition sector.
