Sustainable Rice Program: Riceland and Hill’s Team Up to Cut Carbon Emissions

Riceland Foods and Hill’s Pet Nutrition have joined forces to launch the Riceland-Hill’s Pet Nutrition Sustainable Rice Program, designed to promote sustainable farming practices among Riceland’s farmer-members. This initiative helps farmers transition to eco-friendly methods while enabling Hill’s to achieve its Scope 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction goals, targeting a 42% decrease by 2030. Leveraging Riceland’s Carbon Ready Program and Arva Intelligence’s expertise, the program provides measurable data on carbon reductions, creating a mutually beneficial solution for farmers and Hill’s sustainability objectives.
