Amercian Spectrum brands could record a positive impact on the portfolio in Q3 except for sales in Europe due to price adaptions and product availability.

On July 3, at the end of Q3, the company announced a turnover of $290.2 million in its Global Pet Care section, compared to $257.3 million in the previous year.

According to the company, this development was caused by the consumer friendly prics adaptions and improved product availability compared to the difficulties in 2021.

“Strong performance in companion animal consumables was offset by softness in aquatics systems and equipment,” it added.

The sales in Europe were “adversely impacted” by inflation and the Ukraine war.

The company announced global sales of $818 million in Q3 (+10%).
