Pursuant to a study of the Italian industry magazine Pet B2B, the sales of pet accessories in Italy grew by 29 per cent in the last year.

In 2021, the industry could record an increase of non-food products sales at different extents: 52.6 per cent in the first quarter, 43.4 per cent in the second quarter, 21.5 per cent in the third quarter and 7.5 per cent in the fourth quarter.

The study revealed, that dog beds and cushions, dog toys and food for small pets such as birds, tortoises, fish and rodents could head the list.
