Nestlé Purina PetCare Europe is advancing its regenerative agriculture initiatives as part of its goal to source 20% of key ingredients through regenerative practices by 2025, and 50% by 2030. Over 450 farmers have joined programs that promote methods like crop rotation, cover cropping, and reduced tillage, which enhance soil health, biodiversity, and carbon sequestration. Initiatives like “Sols Vivants” in France and Landscape Enterprise Networks (LENs) in the UK, Italy, Hungary, and Poland showcase Purina’s collaborative efforts with farmers and environmental partners. Cécile Doinel, head of regenerative agriculture at Purina Europe, emphasized the importance of partnerships and farmer sponsorships in driving these efforts forward.
