Poul Weihrauch, current President at Global Petcare, will become new CEO of the company at the end of September, succeeding Grant F. Reid.

In 2000, he commenced Mars as brand leader for Snickers for Europe. Since his advancement to President at Global Petcare in 2014, he doubled the business‘ size and focussed on sustainability.

“He is known for his inspirational and inclusive leadership style, for growing businesses and renovating brands and for his deep commitment to Associate engagement and development,” claimed Frank Mars, Chair of the Mars Board of Directors.

According to Mars, Weihrauch is a “strong” leader, guiding the company towards “what promises to be a bright and exciting future.”

“We live in challenging times but I’m an optimist and I believe in the power of business to have a positive impact and, in particular, the freedom we have at Mars to do the right thing for our Associates and the world we operate in,” stated Weihrauch.

Next to Weihrauch’s appointment, there will also be some more. Loic Moutault, former President at Royal Canin now succeeded by Cécile Coutens, will become President at Mars Global Petcare.
