The ex-Pets at Home CEO Pritchard will join AO World as independent non-executive director effetive from 1 October 2022. Pritchard will keep on pervading its duties at Arcaplanet.
He will be a member of the company’s Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee.
Geoff Cooper, AO World Board Chairman, stated, that he contributes “a strong mix of knowledge of consumer-focused businesses, as well as experience in transforming businesses.”
For four months now, Pritchard worked as chairman of Italian pet retailer Arcaplanet. According to a statement of the company to GlobalPETS, “he is free to take a position on any other board, as long as it’s not a competitor.”
In 2011, he started his career at British retailer Pets at Home as Commercial Director, becoming CEO in 2018
