Swedish Petbuddy Group AB (PBG) has named Paul van der Raad as its new CEO, effective January 2025. Formerly the Global Director for the pet sector at Dutch company Protix, van der Raad brings nearly three decades of expertise in the pet industry. Chairman Newton Aguiar highlighted van der Raad’s strong background as ideal for driving PBG’s growth, product innovation, and sustainability efforts. PBG manages popular brands such as Buddy, Thrive, and Little Big Paw.
