Nestlé Purina PetCare is making a significant investment of US$195 million to expand its production facility in Jefferson, Wisconsin. This expansion will boost the production of wet pet food brands by almost 50% and create around 100 new jobs in the community. It’s part of Purina’s broader growth strategy, which includes recent facility openings in North Carolina and Virginia, and a plan to invest $2 billion in factory expansion projects globally between 2020 and 2025. Local authorities and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation are providing financial support for the project, highlighting the company’s commitment to local economic development and job creation.
