Natura Plus Ultra Pet Food, a French pet food manufacturer, is expanding its production capacity with a 5,000-square-meter extension to its factory, set to be completed by April 2025. The company, known for its Ultra Premium Direct brand, plans to introduce new products, expand its Care range for dogs with special dietary needs, and strengthen its presence in the pet treats market.
Meanwhile, Vafo Group’s UK-based subsidiary, Pooch & Mutt, has acquired BIOME9, a company specializing in personalized gut health testing and supplements for dogs. This move aligns with Pooch & Mutt’s commitment to enhancing pet nutrition and health through scientific advancements.
Additionally, Butternut Box, a UK pet food company, is investing in a new manufacturing facility in Poland, following its acquisition of PsiBufet in 2023. The facility, located in CTPark Zabrze, is valued at approximately $76.5 million and will support PsiBufet’s direct-to-consumer fresh pet food model.
