Meatly’s recent at-home feeding trials confirmed that its cultivated chicken ingredient, Meatly Chicken, is safe and highly palatable for dogs. Conducted in collaboration with Treat Therapeutics, the study involved 31 dogs of various breeds in the UK, assessing enjoyment and digestibility over a single-day and a two-week controlled trial. Results showed high enjoyment levels, with 75% of dogs immediately eating the meal and 50% licking the bowl clean. No adverse effects were reported, supporting Meatly Chicken’s quality and safety. Additionally, Meatly Chicken was found to contain essential nutrients comparable to traditionally raised chicken, underscoring its potential as a sustainable, nutritious pet food option.
