At the end of 2023, managing director Norbert Steinwidder will leave Das Futterhaus Austria after 15 years. Next year, commercial manager in Austria Felix Goral will lead the company together with Andreas Schulz, managing director for Germany.
Steinwidder and his wife Noella have established Das Futterhaus from Germany to Austria in 2009. At the beginning he was just franchise partner, then he became managing director. Increasing the store network, he could bring the number of partners in Austria to 17 and the number of operating branches to 47.
Last year, all Austrian store could reach a total revenue of 55 mio euros. Steinwidder did not disclose if he stays in pet sector.
