Lithuania-based Kika Group, a leading pet food and care supplier in the Baltics, has announced the construction of a €20.5 million wet pet food production plant near Kaunas. Named Akvatera W, the 7,200 m² facility will meet A++ energy efficiency standards and produce up to 11,000 tons annually, targeting both local markets and exports to Europe, Asia, and the USA. The facility will feature two production lines and add 52 new products to Kika’s portfolio.
With consolidated sales reaching €71.7 million in 2023—43.5% from exports to 65 countries—Kika Group continues to expand its presence globally, particularly in Europe and growing markets across Asia. The group also operates the Akvatera LT dry food plant, Tauro Kennel breeding facilities, and 128 Kika retail stores in Lithuania and Estonia.
