The German pet retailer Fressnapf will establish a new office in Budapest by the end of October. The company appreciates Hungary’s “central position” and the “great potential” for new talents and skills.
Implementing its national offline and online strategy, the 150 employees will help collaborative and country organizations in finance and accounting. “Thanks to its central position at the heart of Europe, it will also be our starting point for further expansion into Eastern Europe,” a spokesperson said to GlobalPETS.
The Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade stated that this is an “important step”. He is confident of attracting more foreign companies.
Fressnapf started its operations in Hungary in 2002 and has recently celebrated the opening of 14 new stores in Romania and the takeover of 11 Super Zoo stores in Romania and 4 in Croatia.
