Polish dog food producer PsiBufet has been acquired by the UK’s Butternut Box, aiming to advance its European expansion. Once the new factory in Zabrze, Poland, is operational, it will serve the Polish market and four other European markets, with plans to explore additional foreign markets. Meanwhile, New Zealand’s King Country Pet Food plans to double its workforce after a NZ$90 million upgrade, boosting its capacity to 40,000 tons per year using locally-sourced ingredients. French producer Natura Plus Ultra Pet Food is expanding its network, planning to run 100 stores by 2028, while also ramping up production capacities to support sales of €150 million annually.
