On June 6, Aker BioMarine inaugurated its animal feed division in China, named Aker BioMarine (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., which will focus on high-quality animal feed ingredients. The launch event was attended by key company executives, highlighting the strategic importance of this venture. This division aims to meet the rising demand for premium animal feed in China by providing QRILL® feed ingredients made from Antarctic krill. The move enhances Aker BioMarine’s presence in the Chinese animal nutrition market, following the official entry of QRILL meal into China in 2020.
