The European online retailer Zooplus signed a contract with GXO Logistics for building a new automated fulfillment center to meet the company’s increasing demand and to further provide high quality to customers.
According to the multi-year agreement, the center shall be designed, implemented and managed in Bor (Czech Republic), 140 km from Prague.
Zooplus could register a sales increase of 16% in the first half of 2021, from €862.5 million ($974.2M) to €1,002.2 ($1132M).
In the European region, there was a growth in the pet food market of 2.8% to €21.8 billion ($26B) according to the European Pet Food Federation (FEDIAF).
